Chihuahua sucking her paw
Okay, so my crazy Chihuahua sucks on her paw when she is falling asleep. Kind of like a toddler! So I’m starting to wonder if I need to look for a doggie orthodontist – you know since they always tell toddlers not to suck their thumbs so as not to ruin their teeth.
Anyway, we snapped this picture of her the other night – it was just super cute!

Okay, so for my daughter’s fifth birthday my husband & I bought her the cutest little Chihuahua. We told the pet store owner that we were looking for a puppy that would stay small & that wouldn’t mind being carried everywhere by our daughter. They recommended this Chihuahua. Now I admit that she is completely & totally adorable … and yes she fits in my purse … but she is CRAZY! So here it is, a blog devoted to the crazy antics of my Chihuahua, Bella. Enjoy!
I’ve been trying to find someone else who has a Chihuahua that sucks on her paw this way! My 6-year old has done it since she was a tiny puppy. She’ll suck till she falls asleep and has actually fallen over a few times if she’s sitting up while she does it. It’s so funny and so cute! They are just like babies!
Oh my gosh! My Chihuahua, Pookie (almost 3 years-old), doesn’t suck on her PAW, but she does have this long fuzzy toy that she sucks on when she’s sleeping, almost like a pacifier. We can take it away from her during the day or when she’s just playing with it, and she’s fine, but if we take it away from her when she’s sucking on it during nap time or bed time, she gets really upset until we give it back to her.
She also has a strange attachment to my Snuggie – she tries to drag it around the house with her, wherever she goes.
